Proper Pin up Hair
Style:
- Start by taking
the front ‘fringe’ section of your hair, and brushing it
forwards and down with your round brush. Take the piece
of hair, and roll it inwards, then pin to your head.
Spray with hairspray.
- Then take two side
sections of hair, and part in the centre (leaving half
your hair down). Brush these backwards, then twist round
and under and pin in place.
- Come back to your
fringe section…re-roll it, and pin the twirl section (so
it’s visible) to your head, with as many pins as it
takes!
- Take the rest of
your hair round to one side, do a small braid and then
attach your hair tie.
- Pop a flower
behind your ear, and you are good to go. You can leave
your hair down instead of tying it to the side for a
different look.
Create a Quick
Do:
- Curl your hair, you
can either put some curlers in your hair, or use a
curling iron.
- Start by sectioning
off the front ‘fringe’ part of your hair. Then brush it
backwards, then push it forwards slightly to create a
quiff, then pin into place. Spray with hairspray. Repeat
this on both sides of your hair, but bring these sections
up slightly before securing.
- Add a cute flower
above your ear for a vintage
look.

- Take the fringe part
of your hair and create a quiff by brushing it back,
pushing it forward and pinning it in place. If you have
straight hair, then get your curling iron and push the
hair round the barrel to give your hair a head start. And
for extra volume, you can backcomb/tease the hair into
its proper place. Smooth with some wax/cream and your
brush.
- Pin the rest of your
hair up onto your head. Either in a band, bun or a
twist.
- Take your scarf (fold
a square scarf in half) around your shoulders. Then lift
the two ends up to the centre top of your head, and lift
the flap to the back of your quiff. Fold in the flaps,
and then tie the ends in a knot behind your quiff. Put
some pins in to anchor the scarf in
place.
- Put loads of hairspray
in your hair!

Style
- Put your hot rollers
in your hair, and don’t forget to hairspray your hair
before putting them in. Take them out once they get
cold.
- Roll/twirl under your
bangs and pin in place.
- Separate the rest of
the curls with your fingers.
- Take two side
sections, and temporarily roll them upwards and grip them
to finish later.
- Section off a small
section at the top of the remaining hair, and pull it
forward to finish later.
- Then take another
section, at the centre back of your head, and create a
roll. Pin in place. Then take the section above and pin
underneath the roll.
- Then create another
small section underneath and make an upwards roll. Pin it
and spray with hairspray. Then divide the remaining hair
into two sections, and roll each upward, pin and
spray.
- Reroll the front side
sections and pin them securely. And reroll your bangs
slightly to the side.
- Pin any loose rolls or
flyaways. Attach some flowers to the worst
side.
